There are two floors; On the ground floor we find the access, with a small parking lot (2 cars) and a porch which articulates all the exterior space, giving us the chance to enjoy the private garden or go to a covered shed where we can find a barbecue and a rustic dining room, very appropiate to enjoy with family and friends throughout the year. Indoors we find a completely equipped kitchen with a dining and sitting room, also with a fireplace and then a doble bedroom with private bathroom, another bathroom and a laundry room, with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs we will find the rest of the bedrooms, all with private bathroom ensuite. Two of them have two single beds each and the other two have a 150cm bed. The customers have free access to the community pool, located a few metres far from the house.Casa Sergio - Brieves - House 5 bedrooms Casa Sergio is an excellent example of what tradicional architecture in Asturias is considered to be. It was built in the XVIII century and was upgraded in its recent history to become a warm and authentic rural accomodation. It is located in Brieves, a little village 12 km far from Cadavedo, in the western Asturias. The house has 3 floors; The ground floor, where you can find a space so you can play ping pong and do the laundry either. Here we have also a covered place outdoors to park two cars and also a barbecue besides the garden. The first or principal floor holds a completely functional kitchen, a dining-sitting room with a fireplace, one bedroom (with a 150cm bed) and a bathroom. Last but not least we can find on the second floor the rest of the bedrooms (one with 150cm bed and three with two single beds each one) and another bathroom.Casa Sergio is fully equipped with daily-use supplies, lining and towels. The emplacement of the accomodation ensures the enjoyment of quietness and slow life, and also let us appreciate an authentic ensemble of what traditional Asturian Arquitecture is suposed to be. In the inmediate enviroment you can also practise a bunch of outdoors activities. There are a pair of bars and one small grocery store in the village.La Casina de Inesita - House 3 bedrooms La Casina de Inesita is so endearing for us: It was a gift for Inés Avello (1930-2012; She was the actual owner of Reserva de Los Campos' mother and also co-founder of La Regalina, that was the family business during 45 years).It was the first summer house for rent during the 50's and it has been upgraded multiple times since it was built until today. Not the garden, which continues having the same plants that had 50 years ago: Roses, Camellia, Lilac and Vine. On the ground floor we find a small private garden w/furniture, a kitchen, a dining-sitting room with access to the garden and also in the backyard of the house we will find an outdoor little bathroom that holds a washing machine too. The first floor offers us two double room with a 135 cm bed each one, and one double room with two single beds. We will also find a bathroom. See AllCadavedo Beach Although there are four beaches in Cadavedo, this, also known as La Ribeirona, is the most comfortable for people of all ages. It is located 1.5 km from La Reserva de Los Campos and can be accessed either on foot, by bicycle or by car. There is free parking, WC, showers and a great bar where to make the aperitif, lunch or dinner.In Asturias, the tides are large. The cycles are of more than 6 hours between low tide and high tide, so if the tide is low in the morning, in the afternoon it is high and vice versa. It is a natural promontory over the sea, surrounded by cliffs, which impacts everyone who sees it for the first time ... or many times. The most beautiful sunsets, the spectacle of the rough sea with bad weather, a place where nature shows its huge beauty and you can be the center of it.The locals usually approach several times a day, it is also popularly called "The Garita Field", as a way of looking out to sea. Depending on the time, it can be an ideal place to do mindfulness, to make the most beautiful photos of the trip or to chat animatedly with a local, always eager to talk with those who visit us.In La Regalina some scenes of series and films were filmed as "La Señora" or "Con la vida fuego" as well as commercials. Nowadays many people choose this place to celebrate their wedding.In 1931, on the initiative of the local priest, Padre Galo, a shrine was erected in honor of the Virgin of Riégala, believing that the spectacular beauty of the surroundings would attract the devotees. It is without a doubt the most beautiful viewpoint of the Asturian West, with privileged views to the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast (and, within it, to La Ribeirona, the main beach in Cadavedo and its immediate surroundings). It is a must if you want to taste the essence of the Cantabrian Coast in all its fullness.Hoces del Esva Las Hoces del Esva (19km, 24min from Cadavedo) is an spectacular nature trail following the gully carved by the river Esva, with walls that can reach up to 500m. The itinerary is perfectly maintained and signposted. To finish the route, you can taste the best Asturian pot of the region in Casa El Obispo in Paredes.Luarca It is the main village in the council, a beautiful and historic town located just 10 minutes from Cadavedo, one of the most beautiful places in Asturias. The most charming neighborhoods are those around the port, although you should not miss the Indian houses in Villar and Barcellina. Very busy in summer, you can enjoy the gastronomic excellence of the area and its amazing atmosphere both day and night. Today it has been converted into a museum and part of its spaces have been reused as Internet connection rooms for the locals. Recommended visit and check the activities available on the date of the stay.Fernán Coronas was passionate about languages, he traveled throughout Europe and in the last years of his life settled in his hometown: Cadavedo. Here, apart from the pastoral life, he dedicated himself to the study of the local language, called Falietsa, and in it he composed a good part of his work; he came to write a grammar, a dictionary with more than 10,000 terms, as well as some original solutions for certain phonemes and grammatical constructs. Also, with Guillermo Avello, he founded the La Regalina Festival in 1931, which is still held every last Sunday of August and is the reference folk festival in Asturias.Parque de la Vida Very close to Luarca, it is a kind of informative museum in the countryside that studies the natural environment, animals and space. It is a very interesting and entertaining visit for children of all ages. It must be previously arranged. Very lively place in summer to spend an entertaining afternoon having cider in one of the many terraces of the port area, buy fish fresh from the sea or browse in a craft store.Castro de Coaña It is the first castro studied in Spain. It was inhabited between the 4th century BC. and the 1st century AC already in full Roman time. It was discovered in 1877 although it was not completely uncovered until the 40s of the 20th century.It is believed that about 2,000 people lived there. Their houses have a characteristic circular shape and are surrounded by a perimeter wall. It is a very interesting and entertaining visit, which also has a Didactic Classroom where everything is very well explained.Escuela de Surf Sundance Old Rider Great plan for the youngest. The houses are made by the best architects of the time and all have some tropical element like a palm tree in the garden.There are five houses of Indian architecture in Cadavedo:Casa de Juan García Avello, also known as El Chalet de Juan de Cantón. It conserves good part of its original characteristics, among them the slate dome. In the old times, the interior was designed by a decorator expressly brought from Paris, as well as furniture, fabrics, etc ...House of Sabino Avello García. Much more sober style than the previous one, its granite masonry stands out.Villa Hilda. Built as Villa Balbina by its first owner Balbina Avello, philanthropist and benefactress of the town and her husband Felix Rodriguez. It is one of the most beautiful villas in the area and they say it is almost a replica of the house that the couple lived in El Vedado, in Havana, but much smaller.Pedro Rico House and The Red House. They are two magnificent twin houses, located less than 200 meters from each other. They were built by two cousins who made their fortune in Uruguay, Juan Rodriguez and Leandro Pérez. The first is still a private residence and the second a hotel.The history of Cadavedo can not be separated from the Indian phenomenon, the cultural exchange that supposed a certain flow of people between Cadavedo and America (the return was almost never definitive since the businesses were still there), as well as the investments that supposed for a small village agricultural and livestock that was Cadavedo at that time.In Luarca, specially on Villar area, there are several: Villa Rosario, Villa Argentina, Villa Carmen, la Casa de Guatemala...Cabo Vidio Here you can enjoy a spectacular landscape of the coast and cliffs that go, on one side to Cabo Busto and on the other to Cabo de Peñas. It is accessed through the town of Oviñana, a few kilometers from Cadavedo. It can be a complementary visit to Cudillero because they are very close.Campiechus Beach It is a very lonely beach, ideal for walking through the stones, sitting down to read, fish or simply silently integrate into its wild nature.
